In April 2018 the two founders Marin and Sascha were just two guys sitting in a co-working space working on their startup. As our Head of Operations you will lead COMO’s ongoing project business. You’ll lead project-teams holistically, manage the growth of the organization, work with the founders on strategic topics, and much more. In this dynamic role you’ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge Influencer Marketing projects together with the most prestigious brands and partners. The responsibilities of the Head of Operations include the following:
Work closely with all Team Leads for the successful execution of client projects - the number of direct reports is initially four and will increase as the company grows
Communicate with Clients & Partners:
Communicate with senior marketing managers at clients companies
Drive strategic initiatives with partners and suppliers
Setup and continuously optimize project-teams and leadership-structures
Plan the capacity of the project-teams and work alongside the Talent Team in specifying required new-hires
Envision, implement and optimize all processes which will allow the organization to scale
Define strategic goals for the client projects in close alignment with founders
Implement and optimize reportings for the client projects
Translate client needs into new tech solutions together with the Tech Team
Coach Team Members:
Coach and roll up sleeves when necessary to work with the team while providing strong leadership, inspiration, and mentorship
Live and breath COMO’s open feedback culture, which is based on the “Radical Candor” concept
You have at least 5 years experience in Project- and/or Key-Account-Management at a marketing-agency, ideally in the area of Social Media (own client network is a plus)
You have several years of experience in leading fast-growing teams (minimum 5-10 team-members) and have deep knowledge in how to scale teams and processes
You’re a passionate and authentic leader with lots of positive energy
You have a strong creativity paired with extensive Social Media know-how
You like to take responsibility for yourself, your team, our customers and also the small things - because in the end every detail counts
You have excellent analytical skills, are highly motivated, love new challenges, and always strive to deliver 110%
You have a sense of humor, a positive outlook on life, and you love teamwork
You speak German & English fluently
